Who we are

This site, enci.tech, is operated by ENCI TECH SDN. BHD., a software company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This notice explains what personal data the site handles and why, in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, including its 2024 amendments.

What we collect

Three things, nothing more. First: messages you type into the demo on our homepage, stored with a random session identifier — not your name. Second: if you choose to give the demo contact details (say, a name and phone number to request a pilot), we store those too. Third: basic access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) that our hosting provider records for security and rate-limiting, plus a daily count of demo requests per IP address that we keep in our own database for the same rate-limiting purpose. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies.

Why we collect it

To operate the demo (your message is sent to an AI model so it can reply), to respond when you ask us to contact you, and to keep the demo from being abused (the rate limits run on those access logs).

How it is processed

Demo messages are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate the reply, and stored in our database (Neon, Postgres). The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server logs. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Demo transcripts and any contact details you provide are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Ask us earlier and we will delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@enci.tech and a human will handle it.
